Teams as a Modern Calling Solution

VoIP is coming to Northeastern

Voice over IP (VoIP) is a modern solution that, over the coming months, will replace Northeastern’s aging campus telephone system. Thoughtful research and pilots were conducted before Microsoft Teams was selected as Northeastern’s VoIP provider, leveraging the university’s extensive and growing partnership with Microsoft. The Northeastern project team has engaged with an outside implementation partner to develop a rollout plan and a support model for a smooth VoIP adoption across the university. Members of the project team will be engaging departments throughout the university directly with more information ahead of and during the phased rollouts of the new calling solution.
