Microsoft Teams at Northeastern

The university’s central hub for collaboration, meetings, and communication.

Digital Hub for Team Collaboration

Microsoft Teams supports communication, collaboration, and productivity across the university. The Teams app is available to Northeastern faculty, staff, and students in web browsers and for download on personal and mobile devices as part of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools.

Teaching and Learning with Teams

Microsoft Teams enhances classroom collaboration and communication. Faculty can develop dynamic Teams-based learning experiences and use the Teams integration with Canvas to sync courses with students across services.

Host Meetings, Webinars, and Classes

Teams can be used to meet or call your colleagues, but you can also host webinars, town halls, classes, and more on Teams.

Meetings can be used for one-on-ones or virtual gatherings of up to 1,000 attendees. For large groups, Webinars or Town Halls may be better configuration options since you can limit chat, microphone, and other features to ensure a smooth event.
